Not too long ago, a press render made its way on to the internet revealing how the Google Pixel XL may look like. Now, we have some more information about the alleged device.
According to a new report, the alleged Google Pixel will come with an always on display, which means it will show useful information and notifications on the screen while it’s locked and in idle state.
This will be an optional feature which you can turn on/off when you want. Many smartphones currently available in the market offer this feature, and it would be a good option for Google to make sure it’s not left behind when it comes to features on its flagship devices.
Additionally, the report continues to mention other features as well, including squeeze gestures which means you can turn on/off specific functions by squeezing the device. The squeeze intensity will be configurable just like the HTC U11.
The handset is expected to come with a 5.99-inch OLED display sporting a resoltuion of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels with an 18:9 ratio, Snapdragon 835 processor and two-tone design similar to its predecessor. We’ll update you as soon as we get any other information.
