When Apple launched their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus the company got rid of the headphone jack and now Google may have similar plans for their Google Pixel 2 smartphone.
We heard recently that Google were working on their new Pixel 2 smartphone which is expected to launch later this year with the next major Android release, Android O.
According to a recent report by 9 to 5 Google, the new Pixel 2 smartphone will not come with a headphone jack, the majority of Android phones on the market today come with a headphone jack.
Google will bring a number of upgrades to their Pixel 2 smartphone, which will include a faster processor, more RAM and improved cameras, the device will continue to be a premium smartphone designed to compete directly with the iPhone.
The new Google Pixel 2 is expected to launch some time later this year, we could possibly see the device some time in September.
