When Google recently announced their latest Google branded smartphone, the Google Nexus S, one of the specifications of this new Android Gingerbread smartphone was Super AMOLED display.
It seems that not all countries will get the Nexus S with a Super AMOLED display, instead some countries in Europe will get the Nexus S with a Super Clear LCD display, including Russia.
The Nexus S will be will be available in the US from the 16th of December 2010 and the UK from the 20th of December 2010 with the Super AMOLED display.
There are no details on why some countries will get a Super Clear LCD display instead of the Super AMOLED one, although as the Google Nexus S is produced by Samsung, we suspect that it is due to the shortage of AMOLED displays.
