Google has apparently recently visited LG’s HQ in South Korea and is also visiting other LG companies, which include LG Innotek and LG Display. These visits are said to be related to the Google Nexus 7 smartphone, although they could also be in talks about other devices. This collaboration between Google and LG is not new; LG has previously manufactured the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, both of which were well-received for their design and performance.
The partnership between Google and LG is seen as a strategic move to leverage LG’s expertise in hardware manufacturing and Google’s prowess in software development.
