The Google Nexus 9 tablet is already available to pre-order and now we have details on the new Google Nexus 6 smartphone. Google will start taking Nexus 6 pre-orders on the 29th of October on the Google Play Store.
The Google Nexus 6 is the first smartphone to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and the device features some impressive specifications.
The Nexus 6 features a 5.96 inch AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the display comes with 493 pixels per inch.
Processing on the Google Nexus 6 is provided by a quad core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 804 processor and there is also an Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM and a choice of 32gB or 64GB of included storage.
The handset is equipped with a 3220 mAh battery and it features QI wireless charging, there is also dual front facing speakers, 802.11ac WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and 4GLTE.
The Google Nexus 6 is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the device is a 2 megapixel camera which is capable of HD video, on the back of the device there is a 13 megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a dual LED ring flash and the ability to record 4K video at 30fps.
When the Nexus 6 goes up for pre-order on the 29th of October, the 32GB model will be available for $650 and the 64GB model will be available for $700 unlocked.
