Google has this week released a new update for its Google Glass eyewear in the form of the XE19.1 update, which brings with it a number of new features, tweaks and enhancements.
One of the major new features rolled out in the latest Google Glass XE19.1 update includes the addition of a new revamped interface for voice actions, providing users with a much cleaner looking navigation menu.
Google also explains that the latest Google Glass XE19.1 update provides even more reliable connectivity, as well as now carrying out an improved job when experiencing occasional network issues when users ask Glass to carry out an action such as “ok glass, send a message to…”
Google explains that the new Google Glass XE19.1 update may take a few days to be available to all Google Glass users, and will roll out over the air, as the Glass device periodically checks for updates from the official Google servers. To recap the Google Glass eyewear is equipped with a high resolution display is the equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away. Together with a 5 megapixel camera capable of recording 720p video, and a MyGlass companion app lets you set up contacts, Glassware, and other features and is available on both iOS and Android.
