Google has this week released a new update which has brought with it a number of new features to its Google Glass eyewear for users to enjoy.
The latest update to Google Glass now enables owners to view text messages from their Apple iPhone device directly on the Google Glass screen, in a similar way to the feature that is already available to users of Android smartphones.
Once you have paired your Google Glass eyewear with your iPhone it will appear as a notification on Glass screen. However you still won’t be able to reply from Glass due to some limitations with the iOS operating system says Google.
Google has also rolled out a new Calendar Glassware which is now available on the Glassware tab in MyGlass. Once this has been enabled it will allow you to see your agenda to the left of the home screen. Also simply tapping a calendar card from your timeline will allow you to change the title, time, location, and RSVP as well as delete the event or dismiss it from your timeline.
If the new Google Glass updates are not available to you already, Google says that the updates will be rolling out during this week. For more details on Raspberry Pi displays and HATS jump over to our essential guide.
