Over the last couple of months, a number of high profile celebrities had their Apple iCloud accounts hacked, and various photos and videos stolen.
It would appear that Apple are not the ones who will face legal action in the cases of the leaked photos, instead it looks like Google may end up being sued in a rumored $100 million lawsuit.
The apparent reason that Google could end up being sued, because the photos and video appeared on websites which Google owns, like YouTube and also Blogspot.
Photos of a number if high profile celebrities were stolen, which include Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Rhianna and many more, and now lawyer Marty Singer, who is representing numerous celebrities, is threatening Google with a $100 million lawsuit.
According to Singer, whilst companies like Twitter and others have been quick to take down the leaked photos, Google has not acted in the same way, you can see part of the letter to Google below.
“Google, one of the largest ISPs in the world, with vast resources and a huge support staff, generating multimillions of dollars in revenues on a daily basis, has recklessly allowed these blatant violations to continue in conscious disregard of our clients’ rights.”
