Google and Asus worked together to produce the Google Nexus 7 tablet, and now it would appear that the two companies are working on the next generation Nexus 7 device.
Google are expected to announce the new Nexus 7 tablet at their I/O developer conference which takes place in May, and Google are expected to ship around 10 million Nexus 7 tablets this year.
Based on the recently released engineering samples of Google’s second-generation Nexus 7, the sources pointed out that the prices of the new 7-inch device will be the same as the first-generation model at between US$199-249, but several specifications will be upgraded.
The new Nexus 7 tablet is rumored to come with a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device is also rumored to feature a slimmer design than the current version.
