Google has teamed up with Sony Pictures, Universal, NBC and Warner Bros, and they have added a total of 3,000 new movies to their YouTube movie rental service.
This gives Google a catalog of over 6,000 movies that users in the US can rent, and prices for a movie rental on YouTube cost between $2.99 and $3.99, and you can either watch the movies through a Google TV device of your computer.
Today, we’re announcing another step in our goal to bring more of the video you love to YouTube: the addition of thousands of full-length feature films from major Hollywood studios available to rent in the US at youtube.com/movies.
