Back in December Google announced that they were activating a total of 300,000 Android devices per day, now Google’s Eric Schmidt has revealed the latest activation figures at Mobile World Congress 2011.
Google are now activating a total of 350,000 Android devices every day, which is a daily increase of 50,00 from December 2010, and certainly a very impressive figure.
That would put Google on target to activate a massive 127,750,000 Android devices this year. Google also mentioned at the event that they would have liked to have Nokia producing Android devices.
“We would have loved to have had Nokia work with us,” Mr. Schmidt said. “We’re sorry they made a different choice.” Have a look and our article on Android vs iPhone to see which smartphone and mobile platform is best for you.
