A new Gigabyte convertible notebook/tablet has arrived at the FCC this week in the form of the Gigabyte U2142, which comes supplied running Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.
The latest U2142 notebook-tablet to be created by Gigabyte is equipped with a 11.6 inch screen, sporting a resolution of 1366 x 768, which is fitted with a pivoting touchscreen.
The Gigabyte U2142 Windows 8 notebook-tablet is powered by a choice of either a third-gen Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, depending on your budget and requirements, supported by a integrated graphics.
Storage is provided by a up to 256GB of mSATA flash storage and 1TB HDD drive for files. The new Gigabyte U2142 system will expected to retail around $1000 but exact specifications for this prices are still unclear, as well as an official launch date.
