Anyone in the market for a new mini PC might be interested to know that the Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 is now available to purchase for less than $130.
The Gigabyte BRIX mini PC measures just 56 x 107 x 114 mm in size and is powered by a Intel Celeron N2807 Bay Trail processor supported by Intel HD graphics.
Other features of the Gigabyte BRIX include a mini PCIe card with 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and 1 x SO-DIMM DDR3L slot that is capable of accepting up to 8GB of RAM if required.
The new Gigabyte BRIX is available to purchase from the likes of Amazon and Newegg comes fitted with 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 and HDMI and Gigabite Ethernet connections. Fanless Tech explains :
“The Gigabyte BRIX is more powerful than the Atom-based NUC, more flexible than ECS LIVA, the GB-BXBT-2807 will handle 1080P files or make the tiniest (and quietest) desktop PC. The design could be more refined, but overall GIGABYTE nailed it on this one.”
