The last thing we heard about the Google Nexus 8, is that Google’s new tablet may launch in July, we had previous heard that the device would launch some time in April.
According to a recent report, the Google Nexus 8 may come with a 64-bit processor, and Google are apparently considering Intel’s’ new quad core 64-bit Moorefield chipset.
The Intel Moorefield chip supports quad core processors with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, and it will apparently come with a PowerVR G6430 GPU which is said to be twenty times faster than the older 5 series GPU.
Along with the launch of the Google Nexus 8, Google is also expected to release a new version of Android, we previously hear that this could be Android 4.5.
It is possibly that Google will announce the new Google Nexus 8 along with a new version of Android at their Google I/O developer conference which takes place in June, this would mean that the Nexus 8 could hit the stores some time in July.
