Some of our readers will remember the new tablet from Fusion Garage that was announced last month, the Fusion Garage Grid 10 Tablet. It originally went on sale for $499 for the WiFi-only version and $599 for the WiFi and 3G version.
Fusion Garage has now dropped the price of both tablets by $200. The WiFi-only version is now available for $299, whilst the WiFi and 3G version is now available for $399.
The Grid 10 tablet features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Processing is provided by a dual-core 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, and it also comes with 512MB of RAM.
Enhanced User Experience
The Grid 10 tablet runs on a custom operating system called GridOS, which is based on the Android platform but offers a unique user interface and experience. GridOS is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, featuring a grid-based layout that allows for easy navigation and multitasking. This makes it an attractive option for users who are looking for something different from the standard Android or iOS tablets.
The tablet also includes a variety of pre-installed applications that are optimized for the GridOS, providing users with a seamless experience right out of the box. Additionally, the Grid 10 supports Adobe Flash, allowing users to enjoy a wide range of multimedia content on the web.
Connectivity and Storage
In terms of connectivity, the Grid 10 tablet offers several options. The WiFi-only version is perfect for users who primarily use their tablet at home or in places with reliable WiFi access. On the other hand, the WiFi and 3G version provides greater flexibility, allowing users to stay connected even when they are on the go.
The tablet comes with 16GB of internal storage, which should be sufficient for most users to store their apps, photos, and other media. However, it also includes a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity up to an additional 32GB. This is particularly useful for those who need extra space for their files and applications.
The Grid 10 also features a front-facing camera, making it suitable for video calls and conferencing. While it may not have the highest resolution compared to some other tablets on the market, it is more than adequate for everyday use.
