Fujitsu has unveiled a pair of new workstation laptops that promise the power to run intensive apps like CAD/CAM offerings. Fujitsu says that the machines deliver power previously only offered in desktop workstations. The machines include the Celsius H910 and the Celsius H710 notebooks. They differ in hardware and specs.
The H910 is a 17.3-inch big screen notebook that can be fitted with the new Core i5 or i7 processors from Intel. The machine also has options for NVIDIA Quadro 4000M or 3000M graphics and up to 32GB of RAM. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity is available too. Storage options and price are unknown at this time.
The H710 is a smaller workstation with a 15.6-inch screen. It is also aimed at the CAD/CAM user that doesn’t need the high-end specs or hardware of its brother. The H710 can be fitted with Core i5 or i7 CPUs and uses NVIDIA graphics,. The GPU is a Quadro 1000M unit and the notebook can have up to 16GB of RAM.
