Fujifilm has today announced a new addition to their range of compact cameras with the launch of the new Fujifilm XF10 camera equipped with a 23.5mm x 15.7mm APS-C CMOS with primary colour filter offering an effective pixel count of 24.2 million.
Still images can be captured as JPEG (Exif Ver 2.3) / RAW (RAF format) / RAW+JPEG (Design rule for Camera File system compliant / DPOF-compatible) an videos in MOV using H.264 compression and Linear PCM Stereo audio. Other features include a FUJINON single focal length F2.8-F16, f=18.5mm lens, 35mm format equivalent : 28mm.
Despite its cameras compact size, the APS-C sized image sensor is 14 times larger than the sensor inside conventional smartphone. Enabling the camera to capture high quality images in low lighting conditions and creates beautiful out-of-focus background effects.
