Four years since launching the original X-Pro1, Fujifilm has this year taken the wraps off its new Fujifilm X-Pro2 camera which is now available to purchase with prices starting from $1,700.
The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is fitted with a 24.3 millions pixel, 23.6mm x 15.6mm Image Sensor APS-C X-Trans CMOS III with primary colour filter and includes a Fujifilm X lens mount.
Other features include : Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder, 1/8000 sec Mechanical Shutter, Film Simulation “ACROS”, 7×7 Phase Detection AF Area, Compressed RAW file format and a weather resistant casing. Fujifilm writes more about the new addition to their range :
The FUJIFILM X-Pro2 delivering a new level of X-series photo quality by combining the brand new X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro engine. The FUJIFILM X-Pro2 is the only interchangeable lens camera in the world featuring a Hybrid Viewfinder system that incorporates both optical and electric viewfinders.
The number of selectable focusing points has been expanded from 49 on previous models to 77 for greater functionality and faster autofocus. With key functions located on the right hand side of the camera body, all main controls can be accessed without taking your eye from the viewfinder.
