Some of you might remember the remarkable flying FlyNano amphibious aircraft we featured here on Geeky Gadgets in April last year. Well the creators of the fantastic flying machine have now put the FlyNano through its first test flight without any problems. You can see the FlyNano taking to the air as the Finnish aeronautical firm put it through its paces.
The first test flights of the FlyNano were conducted on Finland’s Lake Hepari, but no specifications or details on how long the flight lasted has been posted by the Finnish aeronautical firm as yet.
As a recap the FlyNano amphibious aircraft is a lightweight carbon fiber waterplane, which is equipped with an electric motor. FlyNano has already sold 35 planes at approximately $35,000 each, and is expected to start shipping their new amphibious aircraft towards the end of 2013.
