The week Recon Instruments has taken the wraps off a new product it is added to its range in the form of the Flight HUD Goggles, which have been designed for use by skydivers, base jumpers and wingsuit pilots.
The new Flight HUD Goggles has been specifically created to transmit real-time flight information to a head-up-display in front of the users eye. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Flight HUD Goggles project and see it in action.
To guarantee production, Recon Instruments has set a requirement limit of 250 orders from their website. Recon Instruments is now taking pre-orders for their new Flight HUD Goggles for $299 for the first 250 pre-orders and $349 thereafter. Do don’t delay if you would like to save a few dollars.
“We are inundated with requests from athletes and participants from a wide variety of sports to create bespoke HUDs for their specific use. Flight HUD is Recon’s first special project whereby a certain number of pre-orders will unlock a special production. We are really excited to be able to offer human flight athletes the same information traditional pilots have been using for decades and know this breakthrough will re-define their flying experience.”
