A new FTM 3D printer capable of delivering resin quality 3D printed objects that are layer resolution of 20-300μm has launched via Kickstarter this week in the form of the Rose Go 3D printer. Features of the new printer include 300mm/s Travel Speed, Auto Levelling, Filament Run Out Detection and a 0.9° Stepper Motor. Check out the promotional demonstration video below to learn more about the user-friendly 3D printer available from $299 or roughly £234.
The Kickstarter campaign is successful and the company raises the required $30,000 pledge goal worldwide shipping is expected to take place sometime around August 2020. “Rose Go is the culmination of our long-term research and development work. It combines both aesthetic design and engineering performance along with user-friendly features. It looks great, works great, and delivers affordable 3D printing performance for everyone.”
Equipped with a touchscreen LCD display the 3D printer is capable of providing high quality prints thanks to its metal core components which insure machine stability and it’s Z-axis clearance gal assembly greatly improves print quality and accuracy. “High quality motors result in high quality prints. A big problem for many printers is ripples after corners and having finer resolution steppers helps reduce that. Instead of a standard 1.8° stepper motor, Rose Go uses a 0.9° motor with twice the precision. This significantly improves fineness and accuracy.”
“Rose Go adopts the platform scheme of PEI+ steel plate. The detachable steel plate platform makes it easy for users to detach the model. PEI (Polyetherimide) has excellent high-temperature stability and can be used under -160° to 180° operating temperatures for a long time. Compared with the normal frosted bed surface, PEI material provides a better underside effect. It can make sure the bottom surface of the model is smooth enough and makes the stripping of the model easier than ever.”
