Facebook has been in the news a lot recently over its recent data issues, the company has now revealed more details about its plans to restrict data in third party apps.
The company recently made some changes that were designed to make it easier to control your privacy settings. They are now making some changes to the data that third party apps can access.
Two weeks ago we promised to take a hard look at the information apps can use when you connect them to Facebook as well as other data practices. Today, we want to update you on the changes we’re making to better protect your Facebook information. We expect to make more changes over the coming months — and will keep you updated on our progress. Here are the details of the nine most important changes we are making.
The company will introduce some new app controls next Monday the 9th of April, these will be available at the top of your news feed. It will show you what apps you use and you will then be able to see what information these apps have on you.
