Wireless charging products have been around for sometime now in the form of Powermat and similar devices. However the trouble with these wireless chargers is that the batteries in the devices you would like to charge need to use the same wireless charging standard. Thus restricting them to just being able to charge a few of your gadgets.
However ElectroHub is a new wireless charging system that provides its own battery to use in your devices in the form of AA and AAA sizes.
By changing your gadgets original batteries for ElectroHub batteries the gadget or controller is converted into a ElectroHub-compatible device, that can now be charger by the ElectroHub.
The ElectroHub measures 9.2 x 6.1 inches and has been designed to charge up to six devices at a time and will be available to purchase for $40 with extra sets of batteries costing $10 each.
The ElectroHub will be showcase at CES 2011 where more details will hopefully be available on battery life and the charging system.
