Elan has all sorts of gear for home automation and customization. The company has unveiled a new product that is really cool called the Elan VL10. This product is a 10-inch touchscreen display that can be placed on a tabletop.
The display can also be mounted under a cabinet out of the way for easy use. The color LCD is touch sensitive and supports swipe gestures and more. The aspect ratio is 16:9 and the display is easy to set up. It has an integrated mic for messaging and a speaker for sound. The display interfaces with the HR2 remote control form Elan.
The display will work with computers and home automation systems for control of lights, climate, security, and more right from the screen. The VL10 will be shown at CES 2012 and pricing is unknown at this time.
