A new smart wallet has been launched via Kickstarter this week and has already raised over €48,000 thanks to over 750 backers with still 42 days remaining on its campaign. The voice-activated trackable smart wallet offers instant access to your credit cards at the click of a button. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Ekster 3.0 which is being marketed as the world’s “slimmest smart wallet”.
Pledges are available from €25 or roughly £22 for early bird backers with worldwide delivery expected to take place during March 2019. “We’ve partnered with the creators of the slimmest and loudest trackers to date, Chipolo. At just 0.09″ (0.24cm) our new tracker slips easily into your wallet, not taking up too much space, disguised as a card. We’re now compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Use either a smart speaker or your smartphone to locate your wallet completely hands-free. Find your wallet without having to move from your cosy spot on the couch!”
The latest design builds on previous products launched in successful Kickstarter campaigns. “The upgraded Bluetooth 4.2 provides a more stable connection and double the connectivity range 200ft (60m). Separation alerts are now more accurate, notifying you immediately if you stray too far from your wallet or phone.” For more details on all the smart wallets features and full specifications jump over to the official Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below.
