PlayStation 4 owners that are looking forward to playing the new PS4 Driveclub racing game that is currently in the final stage of development and will be launching next week on October 8th 2014.
Will be pleased to know that Sony has today announced the driving wheel peripherals that will be supported by the new PlayStation 4 Driveclub racing game, explaining that the game supports not only on DualShock 4 but also on all of the wheels currently compatible with PS4.
During August of this year Sony revealed the Driveclub online challenges, created to bring the community of Driveclub PS4 players together and reveal who has the skills and those that don’t. Sony explains :
“We’ve been working really closely with Thrustmaster on their new T80 andT300RS wheels, to make sure that they’re perfectly tuned for DRIVECLUB and the PS4. Who doesn’t love to lock their thumbs into a good racing wheel and get lost in the moment, believing that they’re pro drivers?!”
Sony hopes to support more hardware from Thrustmaster and other racing wheel designers and manufacturers, as more wheels hit the shelves for PlayStation 4 in the coming months.
“Driveclub is all about enjoying the thrill of the fastest and most exciting cars on the planet, sharing the fun of driving them in stunning events and challenges that you set-up with friends. It’s not just about crossing the finish line first – although that will net big rewards for you and your club – there’s a lot more to play for in every race.
Earn big points for driving with flair or expert precision. Earn accolades for each of your cars and club. Try and beat face-offs for drifting, speeding and nailing the racing line. Everything you do earns you fame, which helps you unlock new cars and liveries for you and your club.”
