A new iOS application called Dream:On has been created to help carry out a mass participation experiment to gather data about our dreaming, which at the moment is something we still know very little about. The iOS Dream:On application has been created by Professor Richard Wiseman and has been designed to try and help you control what you dream while asleep.
To start using the Dream:On application just load it noto for iPhone or iOS device and leave it on the corner of the bed before going to sleep. Dream:ON will then start to monitoring your sleep patterns.
Once it has enough data the Dream:On app will sense when you are dreaming, and start playing a ‘SoundScape’ which has been carefully designed to help create your desired dream.
“Do you want to create your perfect dream? Perhaps you would like to dream about taking a relaxing stroll through the countryside, being able to fly, or lying on a sun drenched beach? Would you like to wake up feeling refreshed and happy? Then Dream:ON.”
If you are interested in giving the new application a go its now available to download from the iTunes app store for free.
