A new nautical watch has been launched via Kickstarter this month in the form of the MARNAUT Seascape 200m, offering a dive watch sporting a classic “Super Compressor” design. Watch the Kickstarter video below to learn more about the design of the Seascape 200m watch and its features.
“At Marnaut, we promised ourselves that every product we created would bring originality to the timepiece ecosystem. This commitment to truly unique design has continued with the 40mm twin crown Seascape 200M. The Seascape 200M is the newest addition to Marnaut’s line up, following the popular Dark Surge 300M, released in 2018. It carries much of Marnaut’s distinct markings, as well as the best-in-class Automatic MIYOTA 9015 movement. The unmistakable dial, inspired by the exoskeleton of the sea urchin, with its symmetrically raised indexes is a tribute to Marnaut’s beginnings and core design ethos.”
“The Seascape 200M is the result of infusing that design ethos and character with a super compressor style diving watch. Known as the “gentleman’s diver”, this iconic, twin crown design traces its roots back to the 1960s and perfectly balances form and function. The upper crown rotates the bezel, while the bottom crown adjusts the time.”
