D-Link’s new Cloud Router 5700 (DIR-865L) which supports the latest wireless 802.11ac standard has now started shipping and is available to purchase in store from this week for around $190.
The D-Link Cloud Router 5700 is equipped with a dual mode, that is capable of providing speeds of up to 1,750Mbps, via 1,300Mbps wireless AC and 450Mbps wireless N.
Fitted with Broadcom’s 5G WiFi (802.11ac) chip the D-Link Cloud Router 5700 provides speeds up to 3 x faster than existing Wireless N technology routers. Ken Loyd, director, consumer products, D-Link Systems, Inc. explains:
