A new Chromebox mini PC will be available to purchase next month, during April 2018, in the form of the new CTL Chromebox CBx1 priced from $199. Created by the Oregon based educational hardware manufacturer CTL, the new mini PC has been designed for educational applications and comes preloaded with Google’s Chrome OS desktop operating system. The CTL Chromebox CBx1 mini PC is powered by a Intel Celeron 3865U dual-core Kaby Lake processor supported by 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage.
This compact Chrome computer includes a built-in dual-band wireless connection, 2 x USB 2.0 ports and 3 x USB 3.0 ports, as well as an HDMI port for high definition output. Together with a USB-c output and Ethernet port for a direct connection to your local network. “At under 6 inches around, the CTL Chromebox Cbx1 is a simple, space-saving solution for work, school, or play.” The small system is also available with a 22-inch display, Chromebox CBx1 plus a CTL 22-inch display for $329 or the Chromebox CBx1 plus a CTL 22-inch touchscreen display priced at $399.
