Makers, hobbyists and developers that enjoy building prototypes are sure to be interested in a new fabrication station called the Creation Workstation that has been created by XpertFab.
XpertFab have designed the desktop fabrication centre to provide a personal desktop factory for users, whilst also offering a large format platform to create those larger projects up to 13 x 15 inches.
The Creation Workstation offers 5 fabrication modes; precision CNC milling, powerful 2.8 Watt laser etching and cutting, 3D printing, drag-knife cutting and diamond tip engraving. Watch the video below to see it in action. XpertFab explains :
“We’ve built upon this field-tested, battle-hardened, robust platform to create a highly-capable maker machine with everything you need to complete all aspects of your next project, start-to-finish. Now with one machine you can expand your creative horizon.
For example, mill your circuit board in the morning, cut out your aluminum space-frame over lunch, 3D print your enclosure and body pieces in the afternoon and assemble your new quadcopter that evening! The Creation Workstation combines all of these technologies, and more, into one highly-versatile system.”
The XpertFab Creation Workstations now available to back over on Kickstarter with pledges starting from $1,299 via the link below.
