Corsair has this week added a new addition to their range of memory, in the form of the newly launched Corsair Vengeance Pro Series Memory.
The new Corsair Vengeance Pro Series of DDR3 memory is now available to purchase in capacities of up to 64 GB and speeds ranging from 1600 MHz to 2933 MHz.
Advanced Construction and Overclocking Capabilities
The Corsair Vengeance Pro Series are constructed using eight-layer PCBs and RAM ICs, and incorporate Extreme Memory Profile 1.3 (XMP) profiles perfect for easy overclocking and tweaking. This advanced construction ensures that the memory modules are not only durable but also capable of handling high-performance tasks with ease. The XMP profiles allow users to overclock their memory modules effortlessly, providing a significant boost in performance without the need for extensive manual configuration.
Overclocking enthusiasts will appreciate the meticulous selection of ICs for performance potential. This means that each module is tested and verified to ensure it can handle the stress of overclocking, making it a reliable choice for those looking to push their systems to the limit.
Enhanced Thermal Performance
The Corsair Vengeance Pro Series memory also features 44 mm aluminum heat sinks for enhanced thermal performance. These heat sinks are designed to dissipate heat efficiently, ensuring that the memory modules remain cool even under heavy load. This is particularly important for maintaining system stability and longevity, as excessive heat can lead to hardware failures and reduced performance over time.
In addition to the heat sinks, the Vengeance Pro Series is fitted with a 60 mm ball-bearing Vengeance Pro Airflow fan operating between 2500 RPM and 3500 RPM for “superior thermal performance at high memory clock speeds”, says Corsair. This fan provides active cooling, further enhancing the thermal management of the memory modules. The combination of passive and active cooling solutions ensures that the Vengeance Pro Series can handle the most demanding applications and gaming sessions without breaking a sweat.
