A unique prototype smart light has been created called the Colour Swing which is capable of adjusting its lighting to suit the colours of your room. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Color Swing smart light which was unveiled by Digital Habits at this years Milano Design Week 2017 in superstudio under the theme TIME TO COLOR.
Digital Habits explains more about their prototype Color Swing smart light :
Color Swing is an ambient light detection system of the color information of an object surface which is returned as a light feedback to the environment. Objects become tangible interfaces and at the same time they influence themselves their surroundings through their color.
The color information of an object is read by the interface and then transmitted to the environment: the system processes the information of the environment, with a spontaneous interaction, and releases in the environment the detected color. The essence of the installation is a small cylindrical pendant light with the interface placed on its bottom. The swing can change color instantly when it crosses a colored object below or by simply oscillating in a colorful environment.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Digital Habits for the smart light, but as soon as more information is released, we will keep you updated as always.
