Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was set to launch on November 28th in the UK, but it was delayed. If you’ve been patiently waiting for the handset to hit retail in the region, there’s a piece of good news for you.
Carphone Warehouse has started taking pre-orders of the Galaxy Note Edge with the shipping date set to December 12th, as revealed before. The handset starts at £58.50 a month on Vodafone for the monthly plans, and is also available SIM-free.
If you’re not up for a contract, you can get the SIM-Free version of the device from Carphone Warehouse, but it comes with a hefty £749.95 price tag, and is available in black and white color options.
As a quick recap, the handset features a 5.6-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 + 160 pixels, and is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion.
There’s a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization for photos and videos, a 3,000 mAh battery, 3.7MP front-facing camera, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system pre-installed out of the box.
That’s a hefty price, but the handset costs high in other markets as well. If you want something different, take a look at the deals offered by Carphone Warehouse at the source link below.
