Canon is the latest company to announce a mirroless camera with the launch of the Canon EOS M, which is the company’s first mirrorless camera and features an 18 megapixel sensor.
The Canon EOS M comes with an 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-12800, expandable to 25600 in H mode, and the ability to record Full HD video.
The EOS M features Canon’s DIGI 5 image processor which is used in their range of DSLR’s and it also comes with a Hybrid CMOS 31 point auto-focus system.
It features a 3 inch touchscreen 1.04m dot LCD display, and the multi-touch display comes with features like pinch and zoom and also swipe navigation. Also check out the newly announced Canon EOS 6D full frame DSLR camera.
Canon will launch the EOS M in October and it will retail for $799.99 with an EF-22m F/2 STM kit lens, there will also be a range of other lenses available at launch.
