Are you looking for a convenient way to access your files both locally and while out and about from either your PC or mobile device? If you are then the new Buffalo CloudStation which uses the well-known cloud storage provider Pogoplug for cloud storage might well be worth a look.
The CloudStation is the first cloud storage device Buffalo has created and its been specifically designed to enable you to have access to your files both from your local network and when away from your office or home by the use of the cloud and an Internet connection.
You can access files without the need for any additional software including PDF, Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents via your computer or your mobile device using the Pogoplug mobile apps for iOS and Android. No information has been release as yet though whether you can stream media through the system.
The Buffalo CloudStation is available in either 2 TB or 4 TB storage capacities and requires no annual subscription for access to the cloud. The Buffalo CloudStation will be priced at around £120-£450 depending on the storage capacity you require. Unfortunately no dates have yet been released on when the Buffalo CloudStation will be available in stores.
