Brabus has unveiled a new SUV at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, the Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4.
The Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 is based on the Mercedes G 4 x 4, it comes with a 0 to 60 miles per hour time of just 6.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 130 miles per hour.
Performance and Specifications
The Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 is not just about speed; it is designed to conquer the toughest terrains with ease. The SUV is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces an impressive 550 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This powertrain ensures that the vehicle can handle both high-speed highway driving and challenging off-road conditions. The advanced suspension system, which includes portal axles, provides exceptional ground clearance, making it ideal for off-road adventures.
The vehicle’s off-road capabilities are further enhanced by its robust all-wheel-drive system, which includes locking differentials and a low-range gearbox. These features allow the Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 to tackle steep inclines, rocky paths, and deep water crossings with confidence. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with 37-inch off-road tires that offer excellent traction on various surfaces.

Design and Features
When a cross-country vehicle has “ADVENTURE” in its name, off-road capabilities are of course at the very top of the performance specifications for the engineers. The BRABUS engineers and designers consequently chose the Mercedes G 500 4×4² as the perfect basis for the most off-road-capable BRABUS supercar ever, the BRABUS 550 ADVENTURE 4×4².
To give the off-roader with extreme ground clearance an even more spectacular appearance while giving it even more off-road prowess for driving far off paved roads, they developed an extensive package of BRABUS ADVENTURE equipment. Of course, the individual components are also available separately for any other current Mercedes G-Class model.
The exterior of the Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 is designed to be both functional and eye-catching. It features a custom front bumper with integrated winch, additional LED lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions, and a roof rack for extra storage. The vehicle also comes with reinforced underbody protection to safeguard critical components from damage during off-road excursions.
Inside, the Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 offers a luxurious and comfortable cabin. The interior is adorned with high-quality materials such as leather and Alcantara, and it includes advanced technology features like a state-of-the-art infotainment system, climate control, and a premium sound system. The seats are designed to provide maximum comfort and support, even during long journeys on rough terrain.
Customization and Availability
One of the standout features of the Brabus 550 Adventure 4 x 4 is its extensive customization options. Brabus offers a range of bespoke modifications to suit individual preferences, from unique paint colors and interior trims to specialized off-road equipment.
