An innovative new application has been developed called BookTrack that has been designed to enable soundtracks to accompany books. It seems a little strange at first, but the BookTrack application uses custom built soundtracks that have been synchronised with e-books text to dramatically boost the reader’s imagination and engagement as they read.

The new application combines music, sound effects and ambient sound, which is then automatically paced to an individual’s reading speed enabling the sounds to appear in the right places as you read.
BookTrack is currently free to download from the Apple iTunes App Store, and currently has a limited number of tracks available to use.
