According to BMW, the BMW Vision Concept is a ‘fusion of exclusivity and innovation’, and it comes with a newly designed interface for BMW’s ConnectedDrive services.
“Innovative technology and modern luxury have always been an important part of BMW’s brand DNA,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design. “We use visionary concept vehicles like the BMW Vision Future Luxury to show where we may be going with these themes in the future, and to give us new inspiration and motivation. The BMW Vision Future Luxury – with its innovative technologies and with meticulous precision and quality in every detail – takes our thinking on modern luxury a logical stage further.”
There is also a Head Up Display (HUD) which is designed to aid the driver, showing things like speed limits, road signs, and more. The vehicle also comes with a tablet in the back of the seat for the rear passengers.
The BMW Vision Concept is equipped with the company’s new laser lights at the front and OLED at the rear. As yet there are no details on whether this vehicle will go into production, although we can expect to see the technology used in the vehicle in future BMW’s.
