Last week, the odd-looking Blackberry Passport went on sale for $599. The Canadian company mentioned it received 200,000 orders of the newly announced device, selling out in most retail locations.
Yesterday, the company mentioned that Blackberry Passport is in stock, and once again, it’s sold out in less than a day. There’s no word of how many units were available for sale on the ShopBlackberry website, but it is a good sign for the company.
Although it appears the company is putting the handset up for sale in small batches, which if we were to guess is to avoid extra inventory. The company has faced its fair share of problems in the past few months, and launched a device in over a year since they started focusing on the enterprise.
As for the Blackberry Passport, the device comes with a decent set of specifications. It features a 4.5-inch display with a weird 1440 by 1440 pixels resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion.
There’s a 13MP shooter on the back, a 2MP front-facing camera, a massive 3,450 mAh battery and runs Blackberry OS 10.3 out of the box.
