Activision has released a new trailer promoting their Black Ops Escalation Map Pack DLC which includes the burger flipper from their Call of Duty: Black Ops television trailer.
“Escalation”, the second Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack, contains 5 all-new exceptionally varied maps; featuring 4 Multiplayer maps and an epic Black Ops Zombies experience with all-new playable characters. You can view both videos after the jump.
Details of the Escalation Map Pack
The Escalation Content Pack will be available first on Xbox Live on May 3, 2011, and later on PS3 and PC. The new Black Ops Escalation content will first be arriving on the Xbox, due to the three-year exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft. Arriving on PC and PS3 shortly afterwards.
The four new multiplayer maps included in the Escalation pack are “Zoo,” “Hotel,” “Convoy,” and “Stockpile.” Each map offers a unique environment and strategic opportunities for players. “Zoo” takes place in an abandoned Soviet zoo, providing a mix of open spaces and tight corridors. “Hotel” is set in a luxury Cuban hotel and casino, featuring rooftop battles and close-quarters combat. “Convoy” is centered around an ambushed U.S. military convoy, offering a mix of long-range and close-quarters engagements. “Stockpile” is set in a Russian farm town with a secret weapons cache, providing a mix of indoor and outdoor combat scenarios.
Epic Zombies Experience
In addition to the multiplayer maps, the Escalation pack includes a new Zombies map called “Call of the Dead.” This map introduces new playable characters, including iconic horror film actors such as Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker, and Danny Trejo. The map is set in a Siberian outpost and features a unique storyline, challenging players to survive against waves of the undead while uncovering the secrets of the outpost.
