Bigfoot has just launched it latest adapter designed to fulfill consumers’ growing appetite for mobile online gaming, on-demand media and other time-sensitive applications by pushing every possible last drop of speed from a mobile Wi-fi connection, in the form of its new Killer Wireless-N adapter.
Bigfoot have been developing their technology over the past few years and its is now ready for the mobile market in the form of the new Killer Wireless-N 1103 and 1102 half-size mini-PCIe adapters. The difference between to two devices are in the streams available, with the Killer Wireless-N 1103 providing three-stream MIMO with data rates as high as 450Mbps, and the Killer Wireless-N 1102 supplying a two-stream MIMO with rates up to 300Mbps.
Bigfoot is keeping its roll-out plans close to its chest at the moment and not releasing any details at the present time but as soon as anything is confirmed we will let you know. But keep your eyes on the big gaming players who will be very interested in this new mobile Wi-fi technology and sure to make a play for a partnership with Bigfoot.
