The folks at Blackberry have released a big update for the Blackberry Messenger on major platforms. If you don’t remember, some of these features were released within the beta app a few weeks back.
The latest update comes with several handy features on board, including the ability to send timed messages. With Timed Messages, users can set a timer on the sent message. After the timer runs out, the message will disappear.
Additionally, the update also let users retract sent messages, which will remove it from your BBM chat, as well as the ability to transfer high quality images via BBM. Here’s a list of features introduced with the latest BBM update:
- Timed Messages: Set how long contacts have access to messages and pictures shared in a chat*
- Message Retraction: ‘Retract’ a message to remove it from your BBM chat*
- A quicker sticker picker: Adding stickers to your BBM chats is now even quicker with a new picker
- HD Picture Transfer: It’s easier than ever to get a high quality version of the pictures you receive in BBM
- Discover Music: See what music your contacts are listening to in BBM Feeds.
