To help develop new ideas the BBC is currently working on to add to their range of services, the BBC has launched a new service in the form of Taster.
Taster is a portal that provides access to all the new ideas and experiments the BBC is considering implementing across states range of channels and allows users to vote and comment on the ideas before they are released into the world.
The BBC explains ”
Many of these ideas have been built as part of the BBC’s Connected Studio innovation programmes. They are new, experimental ideas in the testing phase, and they may not work on all platform or devices, may have some glitches, and may not meet the full BBC editorial, technical and accessibility standards.
This site is designed for testing and audience feedback purposes and does not necessarily represent the BBC’s future plans.
Try – Taster is the home of new ideas from the BBC. It’s a new way to deliver all the freshest ideas and experiments, from across the BBC straight to you.
Rate – Before we release new projects into the world we want you to try them. Some may float your boat, while others might sink. You let us know what you think so we can make more of the stuff you love.
Share – If there’s something you really love, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with your friends so they can try it out too.
