
Android users that also bank with Barclays bank can now use the companies Android application to pay using NFC, thanks to a new update that has rolled out this week that has enabled the NFC feature even before Android Pay lands in the UK.
The latest edition of the app is now available to download from the Google Play Store and has been added specifically for credit card customers who own a supported Android smartphone.
Once the app is loaded on to your Android devices a £30 limited is available for NFC payments, although in some stores this is increased to £100 when you also use your pin code to authorise purchases.

To use the mybarclaycard app you’ll need a UK mobile number and be the main cardholder of a personal Barclaycard issued in the UK. Registered for mybarclaycard online account servicing?
