Its has been announced this week that Designworks have partnered with British Airways to develop a new innovative electronic Bag Tag that could remove the need for paper baggage tags.
The new British Airways and Designworks Bag Tag has been deigned to enable users to use their smartphone after they have checked create a unique barcode on the tag that holds all the users flight information.
The technology used within the Bag Tag can be used again and again saving the need for printed paper language tags to be printed every time a person checks-in. British Airways’ managing director, brands and customer experience explained:
“Bag Tag is a fantastically simple, yet smart device that gives each customer the choice to have their own personalised electronic baggage tag that changes with the swipe of a smartphone – every time they fly. “As the saying goes, ‘good things come in small packages’, and this innovative device is no exception.”
