If you enjoy flying kites, there are a number of different styles you can choose from depending on your style of flying. But I bet you have never seen anything like the awesome “Little Shining Man Kite” designed by Sash Reading.
The “Little Shining Man Kite” is constructed using 1,700 3D printed connectors, carbon fibre rods and cuben fibre aerospace fabric, and was conceived by Heather Peak and Ivan Morison. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
Movie below is the “Three Cubes Colliding”, shot by freelance animator and videographer JimandTonic. The kite was engineered and fabricated by Queen & Crawford, and commissioned by Dandara Ltd for the Chart Room, in Castle Quay, UK.
