Audio-Technica has this week added a new addition to their range of headphones, with the launch of a new Special Edition model of landmark ATH-MSR7 headphones, which will be available during October 2017 and priced at $299.
The ATH-MSR7SE headphones have been created to combine studio-quality sound with an ultra-comfortable design, says Audio-Technica, offering consumers a special edition model of its award-winning headphones.
Audio-Technica explains more about the new ATH-MSR7 headphones:
The ATH-MSR7SE features a new premium aluminium housing along with an exclusive limited edition deep metallic navy finish with subtle deluxe gold accents. Wrapped in stylish dark brown faux leather, the earpads and headband have also been specially designed to provide ultra-soft padding for improved comfort over long listening sessions. Mirroring the profile of a whole ear, the housing is shaped to boost the lower end sonics while improving sound isolation for a more immersive listening experience.
Employing Audio-Technica’s pro-audio pedigree and technology from the company’s flagship wired ATH-SR9 headphones, the ATH-MSR7SE enhances the existing model’s sound. At the centre are the specially-tuned 45mm ‘True Motion’ drivers boasting a new Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coated diaphragm that offers increased rigidity for faster response times and reduced distortion, resulting in a more precise audio reproduction. It also enables superior handling across the higher frequency range delivering enhanced detail – vital when listening to hi-res audio on today’s compatible smartphones and portable music players.
