
AT&T has announced the carrier will add a number of smartwatches to its portfolio later this month, including the Samsung Gear S2 and LG Watch Urbane.
Samsung Gear S2 will hit the retail shelves from November 20th while the LG Watch Urbane will be available from the carrier from November 14th.
If you’re interested, you can pre-order both smartwatches from the carrier starting November 6th. As for the pricing, the Gear S2 costs $0 down and $15 per month for 20 months with an AT&T Installment Plan on Smartwatches, or $199.99 tied to a two-year contract.
On the other hand, the LG Watch Urbane costs $0 down and $15 per month for 20 months with an AT&T Installment Plan on Smartwatches or $199.99 with a two-year agreement.
Both smartwatches will also come with support for AT&T NumberSync feature. The Gear S2 will get it first on launch, while the LG Watch Urbane is expected to get the feature in early 2016. For those of you who are not aware of NumberSync, it allows users to you to keep their mobile number even if they don’t have the phone.
With NumberSync for wearables you will be able to send and receive texts, as well as make and receive calls from your smartwatch using the same number that your friends, family, and colleagues already recognize.
