The Atari VCS games console is available to preorder with pledges starting from $199 plus shipping, offering a 33 percent saving off the recommended retail price which will take effect once the crowdfunding campaign comes to an end.

Specifications of the Atari VCS take the form of a Bristol Ridge A10 CPU supported by a Radeon R7 GPU combined with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. The Atari games console also provides the possibility of expanding your storage even further using external hard drives or SD cards. Atari has used a customised Linux operating system based on Ubuntu, which has been used to create an Atari restyled interface. Atari also promises mouse and keyboard support straight from the box.
